Description | The County Integrated Development Planning (CIDP) Process is a process through which the counties prepare strategic development plans for a five-year period. Articles 103 and 104 of the County Government Act, of 2012 defines objectives and conditions for planning. Article 108 stipulates the content of CIDP. The Kenya Constitution 2010 stipulates that one of the objectives of counties is "to encourage the involvement of communities and community organizations in the matters of County government". The preparation of this plan included the pre-draft consultation with communities throughout the county, sectoral groups, statutory agencies and adjoining local authorities. |
