Description | The Performance Appraisal System (PAS) is a critical component of the overall humanresource management function in the County Government of Kisumu. Its predicated uponthe principle of work planning, setting of agreed performance targets, feedback andreporting. It is linked to other human resource management Systems and processes includingrecruitment, placement, staff development, career progression, incentives and sanctions2. The overall objective of the PAS is to manage and improve performance of the CountyGovernment of Kisumu (CGK) staff by enabling a higher level of staff participation andinvolvement in planning, delivery and evaluation of work performance. |
