The overall goal of the County Assembly is to enhance the capacity for Members of the CountyAssembly for legislation, oversight and representation so as to make Kisii County morecompetitive and prosperous.Major achievements include the passing of various pieces of legislation since Kisii CountyGovernment came into being and various policy documents such as the County EmergencyFund, Annual Development Plans, County Fiscal Strategy Paper, County Budget Review andOutlook Paper among others and competitive recruitment of qualified and experienced staff.
