Description | ...Monitoring and evaluation is undertaken by the County to track implementation of programmes and projects so as to determine exactly when a programme is on track and when changes may be needed. And lessons learnt and best practices from the exercise are important in informing future project design and implementation. The Public Finance Management (PFM) Act 2012 104 (1), Article 220(2) of the Constitution, Section 129 of PFM Regulations 2015 and County Government Act 2012 requires the county government to conduct monitoring and evaluation on funded programmes and projects implemented across the county. The County has invested heavily over the last five years (2013/14 2017/18) in development initiatives across the County. It is therefore necessary that the county government assesses the interventions made in each fiscal year and document progress made. |
